As you may know, Impact 100 Pensacola Bay Area has enjoyed a relationship with Lamar Advertising, (THE Billboard people) for many years. The Lamar people are gracious enough to electronically “announce” the number of members in Pensacola each year at the exact moment the announcement is made at the Impact 100 “live” event by synching their electronic billboards in town to flash the announcement at precisely the right time. As you can imagine, this is quite an impressive feat that rallies the whole community around the excitement of the Impact 100 membership announcement.
Thanks to Belle Bear, (Pensacola’s Rockstar) the folks at Lamar have extended the offer to Impact 100 chapters everywhere! Bobby Switzer, whose grandmother was a Lamar, is a great supporter and fan of the Impact 100 model. To show his support, he is willing to provide electronic billboard space to your Impact 100 Chapter, assuming that Lamar Advertising works in your community.
Billboards are a great way to introduce broad audiences to the work of Impact 100 in your community on a daily basis.
To determine if you are eligible:
- Go to the Lamar Advertising website and find out if there is an operation office in your city.
- If so, reach out to Lamar and mention Bobby Switzer’s name and his offer to donate a billboard.
- Tell them that you were instructed to have the local Lamar Advertising office call Bobby Switzer with any questions or to confirm the gift.
What an incredible gift for the Impact 100 community! And huge thanks to Belle Bear for presenting this opportunity and sharing the news.
